1032 Trainees Join 36 Training Programs during the First Quarter of 2013

​The Training Center in Riyadh Chamber implemented (36) training programs within its annual plan, during the first quarter of this year. 1032 male and female trainees joined these programs in order to be qualified for the labor market as they underwent intensive courses with the participation of a number of instructors and specialists. The center implemented (15) developmental programs for (544) male trainees during this period. These programs covered a number of fields of business sector. In addition to (4) qualification programs for (70) trainees, which covered the fields of humans resources and purchases. The center proceeded, during the same period, the implementation of the program of specialized occupational diplomas, whereas (4) diploma programs where implemented and joined by (171) trainees. Moreover, the center carried out (5) worker training programs for (94) of the chamber employees. Since the chamber is keen to develop the skills of female employees in order to create administrative leaders through workshops and training programs with the participation of the best female training experts; the chamber implemented (8) training programs for (153) female trainees. These programs included informative editing skills for public relations female employees, preparing and qualifying female recruitment specialists and a course of phone customer service skills. Moreover, (4) specialized occupational diploma programs for human resources, banking business and business enterprises were carried out in this period and joined by (171) trainees to cover (92) training units. On the other hand, the center achieved a number of training complementary activities in coordination with many concerned bodies in the training sector. The center developed alliances and joint cooperation agreements with many leading training institutions to provide joint specialized programs to qualify and train national cadres. Thus, within the plan to support the civil training centers and institutions, which are affiliated to the chamber and to spread awareness of the importance of investing in training.
