KSA to Europe is the Major Commercial and Historical Market
Riyadh Chamber organized on 17 May 2017 a Business Opportunities Forum with a participation of 14 EU countries at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. Mr. Hamad Al-Shuwaier, Deputy Chairman of Riyadh Chamber, said that the Saudi-European Opportunities Forum opens wide horizons for strengthening trade relations between KSA and the EU countries. He added that the forum is especially important as it coincides with the implementation phase of the Kingdom's Future Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program 2020. In turn, Mr. Michele Cervone d'Ursu, Head of the EU Delegation, confirmed the deep relationship between Saudi Arabia and Europe. "The European Union is the largest trade partner for GCC countries", said Ms. Ewa Synowiec, Principal Advisor, DG TRADE – European Commission, pointing out that EU's businesspeople are interested in the forum to discuss cooperation opportunities with the most important traditional and historic markets in the Middle East. The participant countries of the European Union have offered a number of investment and business opportunities in many areas to Saudi businesspeople. Representatives of Hungary, Netherlands, Portugal, France, Austria, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Spain, Finland, United Kingdom, Italy, Denmark and Ireland as well as a number of representatives of the EU Delegation participated in the forum.
