The Riyadh Chamber, in cooperation with the National Center for Palms and Dates, organized a workshop titled “Introducing the Updated Procedures for Exporting Dates.” The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with the mechanism for exporting dates through accredited export centers.
During the workshop, the applicable procedures and requirements for shipments were reviewed, along with the services provided, in a way that helps enhance compliance with regulations. It also highlighted the export process through accredited export centers, supporting the dates sector and strengthening its competitiveness in international markets. In addition, the workshop explained the procedures applied to date shipments and the additional services available, enabled exporters to keep pace with modern regulatory requirements, and presented the updated exporter journey for exporting raw dates. The discussions also covered ways to improve the efficiency and quality of Saudi date exports.
