Riyadh Chamber Gathering Commercial Attaches of (30) Countries to Boost Trade and Investment Partnership
On Monday evening 27 March 2017, Riyadh Chamber organized the second meeting of ambassadors and commercial attaches at the Cultural Palace in Riyadh's Diplomatic Quarter, which aims to support investment and trade partnership between the business sectors in Riyadh region in particular, the Kingdom in general and these countries. The chairman and the members of the Board of Directors of Riyadh Chamber presented the Saudi side at the meeting, which included a group of Saudi businessmen and investors. The meeting, which was attended by the ambassadors of four countries - China, Argentina, Finland and Albania - began with a welcome speech by the Chairman of Riyadh Chamber Eng. Ahmed Bin Sulaiman Al Rajhi. The Designate Secretary-General of the Chamber, Mr. Ahmed Bin Ali Al-Suwailem, expressed his pleasure to hold the second meeting with the commercial attaches. He said that the Chamber received more than (35) foreign trade delegations during 2016. The Deputy Chairman of the Foreign Investment and International Cooperation Committee in the Chamber, Mr. Waseem Al-Sourani, confirmed the committee's interest to enhance the atmosphere of the foreign investment in Riyadh and create the environment to attract more foreign investments produced. The General Director of Attracting Investors at the General Authority for Investment, Mr. Emad Al-Abdalqader, displayed a presentation about the investment environment in the Kingdom in the light of the implementation of Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program. The meeting included side meetings between Saudi businessmen and commercial attaches.
