Under the auspices of the Chairman of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdul Rahman Bin Abdullah AlZamil, the Riyadh International Centre for Conferences and Exhibitions organizes the Annual Forum for Event Organizers. It will include a lecture, by the international speaker Professor George Pierre, that is related to the exhibitions industry and a lecture by the international speaker and lecturer Girard Bashar on the growth of the sector in the region. This Forum is to exchange information and provide direct personal encounters between decision makers by attracting national and local companies of the leading exhibitions and conferences industry. This is besides the review of the experiences that would be known by the experts and specialists in the exhibitions and conferences industry through the lectures accompanying the Forum that will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Professor George Pierre is one of the academics who specialize in this industry, a lecturer at the University of Cooperative Education in Ravensberg in Germany, the Chairman and founder of the Department of Exhibitions, Conferences and Event Management at the University, and the Degree Program Administrator of the Department of Exhibitions in the World Federation of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). Engineer Bandar AlHumaidi, President of the Riyadh International Centre for Conferences and Exhibitions and Board member of the Riyadh Chamber, considered that this forum serves as a reflection of the evolution and growth of the industry in the Kingdom lately. He said: “this forum is a place to exchange ideas, information and experiences for the benefit of all, whether the organizers, exhibitors or even the interested in the domain. Moreover, the forum includes two lectures for the professionals in the exhibitions and Conferences industry that will have a positive impact on promoting awareness of the importance of the sector and its economic, cultural and developmental usefulness”.
