The Riyadh Chamber and the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) held a meeting to discuss the “Integration between the Heavy Equipment Regulation Center and the Riyadh Chamber” initiative, which aims to strengthen cooperation and coordination in regulating the heavy equipment sector through the development of regulatory and technical frameworks and the exchange of heavy equipment-related information between both parties.

The initiative seeks to enhance collaboration and integration in regulating the heavy equipment sector, support sector governance, and improve compliance with applicable regulations. It also focuses on exchanging data related to heavy equipment to further develop the sector’s capabilities, establishing joint working teams to oversee the implementation of the initiative’s objectives, and launching a joint awareness campaign to promote understanding of the sector’s regulatory framework.​
