Riyadh Chamber held its General Assembly meeting for 2025, chaired by the Chairman of the Board, Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Obeikan, and attended by members of the Assembly. The meeting reviewed the Chamber’s key achievements over the past year, in addition to discussing strategic directions and initiatives supporting the business sector.
The Chairman opened the meeting with a speech affirming that the Chamber continues to strengthen its role as a key enabler of the business sector and an active partner in economic decision-making.
He noted that the past year witnessed the launch of a package of strategic initiatives, most notably the Center of Excellence and Economic Foresight, which serves as a think tank supporting decision-making; the Data Management Office, which is building an integrated ecosystem driven by data insights; and the Empowerment and Support Office, which leads efforts to address challenges facing the business sector through partnerships with government entities.
He further stated that the Chamber continued to advance its technical infrastructure and launch sophisticated digital projects, including the “A’mali” portal, as well as data platforms and technical integration systems, thereby enhancing service efficiency and elevating the subscriber experience. He also highlighted the role of the Chamber’s sectoral committees in representing the voice of the business sector by discussing challenges, formulating insights and recommendations, and organizing numerous specialized events and forums, which in turn strengthen the private sector’s influence on economic policies.
In his closing remarks, the Chairman emphasized that these achievements were made possible by the support of the wise leadership—may God preserve it—and the alignment of efforts among various entities. He reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to strengthening its role as a strategic partner and a driver of economic development, contributing to enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy and enabling the business sector to perform more effectively.
