Riyadh Chamber and Zakat Authority launch a free program to qualify 1000 young men and women in Zakat and Tax Accounting field

Riyadh Chamber, represented by the Human Resources and Labor Market Committee in cooperation with the General Authority for Zakat and Income, announced the lunching of a free initiative. This initiative is based on training Saudi youth of both sexes in zakat and tax accounting field for those with qualifications or experience in management, accounting, finance and economics. The events of this program will start in 7/7/2019 and will last for ten days.

This initiative is launched for the second successive year by Riyadh Chamber to develop the specialist functional skills for job seekers to meet the emerging needs of the private sector.

The Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and the head of the Human Resources Committee and Labor Market Committee, Eng. Mansour A. Alshathry extended his thanks to H.E. Governor of the General Authority for Zakat and Income Tax, Eng. Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi, for His Excellency's approval of launching this training program, aimed at raising the proportion of Saudization from specialized staff in accounting and finance. Also, enhancing their level and skills to master the methods of calculation of zakat, income tax, withholding tax, excise tax and value-added tax, obligations of taxpayers, taxable supplies, exempted supplies, VAT return filing and tax invoice.

Alshathry noted the close cooperation between the General Authority for Zakat and Income and the Riyadh Chamber. This cooperation resulted in the organization of several lectures aimed at introducing businessmen and businesswomen methods of calculating zakat and taxes. He added that the organization of this training program represents an extension of this cooperation between the parties.
