​The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce organized an open meeting with Abdulaziz Al-Buq, Governor of the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), at the chamber’s headquarters.

The meeting was attended by the chamber’s Chairman, Eng. Abdullah Al-Obaikan, along with several board members. It aimed to establish direct communication channels with business owners and hear their suggestions on enhancing social insurance services.

During the meeting, GOSI outlined its key initiatives and services offered to employers, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening collaboration with the business sector. The organization emphasized that such cooperation contributes to improving the efficiency of services provided to enterprises in the region, enhancing systems, and supporting the business environment through the application of best practices in social protection. These efforts, it noted, help safeguard employees’ rights, sustain economic activities, and drive national growth.

The open meeting also featured an extensive interactive session with business leaders, during which participants discussed joint awareness programs, initiatives related to social protection, the expansion of coverage to new sectors, and ways to support small and medium-sized enterprises. They also exchanged views on challenges facing business owners and proposed practical solutions.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership between GOSI and the Riyadh Chamber to further develop the business environment and provide integrated solutions that serve both employers and employees alike.​
