During its regular meeting chaired by Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Fahd, the Education Committee at the Riyadh Chamber discussed a number of initiatives and programs aimed at developing the education sector and enhancing its sustainability. The discussions focused on supporting private education, empowering educational institutions, improving sector efficiency, and addressing key regulatory, operational, and investment-related challenges. The committee also reviewed several proposals and qualitative initiatives that would contribute to strengthening the educational environment and stimulating investment in the sector.
The committee recommended identifying challenges and opportunities that support the education strategy, organizing a workshop in cooperation with the General Authority for Competition, approving a cooperation agreement initiative with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, preparing a comprehensive plan for community programs related to the education sector in collaboration with relevant entities, developing enhancement programs for small and medium-sized enterprises to support private education, and forming specialized working groups to follow up on the implementation of the outcomes discussed under each meeting agenda item.
