​​Dr. Tawfeeq Alrabeah revealed that the Ministry of Commerce is about to finish a legitimate work for franchises which started last year . He indicated to the preparation of the franchise project in order to tackle franchise challenges .

He also mentioned in his speech , which was given by Dr. Fahad Abu homaid on behalf of him, during the  activities of  The Franchise Forum , organized by Riyadh Chamber , the weakness of franchise activity in the Kingdom in comparison  to some countries . He also clarified that franchise agreements reached 657 and that only represents 4%  of the total of commercial and distribution agencies which reached 15980 agreements . Meanwhile , it reached 782 hundred thousand agreements in the US .
