​​His Excellency Mr. Hussaein Al-Athel, Secretary General of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) has asserted the right of businesswomen to not only vote but also to be nominated and voted in the 15th Round, of the RCCI, Board of Directors Election, which is to be held in Shawual 1429H. This was a response from Al-Athel while responding to a number of inquires referred to RCCI by particularly businesswomen wandering that if women have a right to be nominated and voted and not only to vote. In the meanwhile, his Excellency does confirm that the Chamber of Commerce & Industry system does not discriminate between its male or female business subscribers and that the opportunity is open and grantable to all equally.
