​Under the auspices of HE Chairman of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Jeraisi, the fifth annual episode of Riyadh Festival for Shopping and Entertainment 1430 will be launched tonight from Gharnata center on the east ring road of the capital city of Riyadh. This event is organized by Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with Riyadh area principality and the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities with the participation of approximately 20 shopping & entertainment centers. The festival will last for a full month starting from 15/7/1430 (Corresponding to 8/7/2009). The goal of the festival, which entered its fifth year, is to stimulate trade and tourism in the city of Riyadh during summer time and catch the attention of all members of the family, especially young people to enjoy recreational and cultural presentations in an atmosphere of fun and adventure. The aim of the participated shopping centers is to target the largest possible number of visitors through a variety of some 300 new activities.
