The RCCI Considers Establishing a Company for Exports

Tuesday 20 April 2010
The RCCI Exports Committee approved to embark on studying the establishment of a large company to take care of Saudi Arabian exports. Mr. Ahmad Al Keraidees, chairman of the committee and member of the board of directors, pointed out that the committee reviewed in its last meeting held last week the views delivered by a large number of Saudi exporters who had supported such a company. In fact, the company would enhance and market Saudi exports by adopting scientific rules to ensure dissimenating and marketing Saudi exports at a global level. He also explained that the committee had approved calling for the RCCI Studies and Research Center to start exploring all the requirements needed for the incorporation and examining the Saudi export market. Upon the studies, the outcomes will be forwarded to higher authorities to report on the importance of the public sector participation in establishing the company.
